Contrast Media

This past Friday I went to the exhibit 'Contrast Media' by Martinez Lefave Lovejoy Cotrononed. I first wanted to say that is a long name if it is his real name. Anyway back to the exhibit, it was interesting. He had some of his best work up, I believe. There was a lot of water paint work. Besides going to the museums I have never really seen large work and he had quit a few large art work. My favorite piece was the one called 'Reminiscing'. It was a painting, i think, on a board of all old toys. It reminded me of the project that we are doing in our ceramics class. In all it was a great exhibit.

I also loved the piece on the TV. It was like checkered windows of an old video game. Different parts would come up at different time. That piece had something to do with Street Fighter II, I believe. As much as I really like that piece, I thought it didn’t really fix the exhibit as a whole. But I guess that’s one of his good works as well. Overall I enjoyed myself.
